If you’re looking for some free fun on Saturday, Mar. 28, you and the kids can enjoy a night of music and dance where you’re sure to feel the rhythm and excitement during the Austin Samba show at the Zilker Hillside Theatre. As part of the 2015 Planet Music series, Austin Samba will present “O Circo Místico” (“The Mystic Circus”) from 6-9 p.m. This springtime extravaganza features colorfully costumed dancers, giant puppets, jugglers, balloons, aerialists and acrobats gyrating to the pulsing rhythms of 50 samba drummers. Wow! Also enjoy free samba dance lessons before the show and a family dance party after the performance.
This event is FREE and Family friendly! Bring a picnic and settle in early. (Take note that the rain date is scheduled for Friday, Apr. 3.)
Partnering with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, Austin Samba presents this year’s performance in collaboration with the following local groups:

- Las Monas de San Antonio
- Capoeira Evolução
- Westlake High School Horns
- Various guest artists from UT and bands around town
