Do you or your kids like to crank the volume WAY up when you hear your favorite song? Trust us, we love to rock out, too. But we’ve been to enough festivals and concerts in our day to know the the risks of hearing damage when being exposed to excessively high noise levels. And now that we’re parents taking our own kids to music shows, we are very aware of the need for hearing protection.
Hearing protectors are a really good idea when attending loud events such as music concerts, car races, sporting events, and even events in the noisey school gyms. As noted in the infographic below from Estes Audiology, listening to 100 decibels for more than 15 minutes can cause permanent damage.
At Fun Fun Fun Fest on Nov. 6-8, we’ll make it a priority to protect our ears while we’re enjoying ourselves at Auditorium Shores. With the help of Estes Audiology, we can be sure to keep the little ones protected, too. They will be giving away FREE ear plugs at our Do512 Famliy Fun Lab at the Fest and offering a complimentary rental of Baby Banz ear muffs while supplies last!
