Music: Children’s radio show, Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child, has curated a fun lineup that kids and parents will both be sure to enjoy. Make your way to the stage for free performances by Red Yarn (2:20 p.m.), Riders Against the Storm (3:20 p.m.), The Not Its! (4:20 p.m.) and Koo Koo Kanga Roo (5:20 p.m.)

Storytelling: In between music sets, stop into the Do512 Family Book Tent where local and national children’s book authors will read from their books! Meet Scott Fitzgerald (2 p.m.), Jason Gallaher (3 p.m.) and Kat Kronenberg (4 p.m.) for book signings. In the book tent, you can also make bookmarks with us and get temporary tattoos and sunglasses!

Fun Activities: In addition to musical performances and storytelling, Rock + Read will also have a number of activities to keep the little ones entertained. Kids can enjoy a cookie decorating station from Baked by Amy’s, jumping on a Springfree Trampoline, a bike course with Buddy Pegs and Woombikes, a punk rock hair-do station with Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids (Arboretum), DIY crafts with MyMusicRX, and more.  Rock + Read is free (no tickets or rsvp required) thanks to event hosts, LiveMom.com & Spare the Rock and Spoil the Child, as well as these great sponsors: Springfree Trampoline, Do512Family.com, KUTX (98.9), 365ThingsAustin.com and The Domain.

We can’t wait to see you there!
