How would your kids like to be transported back into a world of knights, ladies, and medieval times this summer? Sherwood Forest Summer Camp offers a unique experience where kids can put the iPads and cell phones away and learn skills that were essential to daily living in the Renaissance. Campers have the rare opportunity to try their hands at many crafts that are no longer widely taught — archery, falconry, swordplay, leatherwork, blacksmithing, herb lore, juggling, and more.
Kids ages 7-15 can attend this exciting overnight camp on the 23-acre medieval village just outside of Austin. Sherwood Forest Summer Camp offers three one-week sessions, during each day of which campers will receive instruction in 4-5 topics. In addition to their classes each camper will have swim time, free time, and of course three healthy and delicious meals cooked by professional chefs each day. Each evening, kids will sleep in the magnificent Great Hall, which is part of Sherwood Castle.
