Summer Sewing Camps at The Cloth Pocket

Are your kids doers who love making and creating? Camp Cloth Pocket offers a variety of summer camps where kids and teens will learn how to sew, make cool items to decorate their rooms or even design their own clothes. The Cloth Pocket offers half-day, week-long camps for beginners and intermediate levels. Check out all the camp options below.

— Decorate Your Room – Beginner Class for kids ages 7 & up

  • June 5-9: 1:30-5 pm
  • June 19-23: 9 am – 12:30 pm
  • July 31-Aug 4: 9 am – 12:30 pm

Campers will be making one of a kind pillows, garlands, and stuffed friends. This 5 day camp will be the perfect intro to sewing on a machine and we will also learn some hand stitching too! This will be a fun filled and super creative week! Cost: $275. Click here for more info & to sign up.

— Summer Wardrobe – Beginner Class for kids ages 7 & up

  • June 5-9: 1:30-5 pm
  • June 19-23: 9 am-12:30 pm
  • July 31-Aug 4: 1:30-5 pm

— Sewing 101Intro Class for Teens

  • July 12-16: 9 am – 12:30 pm
  • July 10-14: 9 am – 12:30 pm

In this week long class, students will learn how to: operate a sewing machine; cut out and sew up a reversible tote bag; beginner quilting techniques by making a mini quilt; make a simple t-shirt using one they already own for fit. Cost: $250. Click here to learn more & sign up.

— AccessoriesBeginner Class for Teens

  • July 12-16: 1:30-5 pm
  • July 10-14: 1:30-5 pm

In this week long class, students will learn how to make: a crossbody bag with lining and pockets, a bi-fold wallet, and a travel case with a clear pouch and zipper, elastic pouches, buttons, handles, and a quilted cover with bias binding. Cost: $250. Click here to learn more & sign up.

— Fashion 101 – Beginner Class for Teens

  • June 26-30: 9 am-12:30pm
  • August 7-11: 9 am-12:30pm

In this week long class, students will learn how to make a circle skirt with a zipper and a dress with elastic smocking and pockets. Both projects will involve the use of a serger. Cost: $250. Click here to learn more & sign up.

— Fashion 201 – Intermediate Class for Teens

  • June 26-30: 1:30-5 pm
  • August 7-11: 1:30-5 pm

In this week long class, students will learn how to make a raglan t-shirt with a front pocket, and a pair of shorts with a front fly zipper and pockets. Both projects will involve the use of a serger. Cost: $250. Click here to learn more & sign up.
