The Mini Maker Faire is back! Saturday, May 3 from 10 an to 6 pm at Travis County Expo Center, families, go get your make on! Not only will there be opportunitites to make awesome, random things using anything from paper to power tools, there will be lots of live music, informative and educational talks and presentations and science demonstrations.

Eeyore’s 51st Birthday Celebration

Get weird at Pease Park on Saturday, Apr. 26 from 11 am until dark, the children’s area will be open from 11 am – 4 pm and live music from noon – 6 pm. Admission is FREE! Dress code will be Austin-formal: tutus, bikinis, fairy wings and flip flops. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a contest. Props: hula hoops, bubbles and flower garlands.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt & Movie in the Park

On Thursday, Apr. 17 starting at 7:15 pm, join the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department in Old Settlers Park for its annual Flashlight Egg Hunt. Let your flashlight be your guide to candy, eggs and prizes and then stay for a movie in the park featuring the family movie The Rise of the Guardians. Be sure to look for the golden eggs- they can be redeemed for a special prize basket!

Free Easter Egg Hunt at Abel’s North

Round Rock Express Fan Fest 2014

Round Rock Express is hosting a FREE day of family-friendly activities at Dell Diamond. Saturday, Mar. 22 from 10 am – 2 pm, Fan Fest will be in full swing at the ballpark. Fans will have the chance to run the bases, hit in the batting cage, clock their fastball with speed pitch, challenge the “Fun Zone” rock wall and inflatables and a lot more.
