If the slogan “Keep Austin Weird” had its own festival, Eeyore’s Birthday would be it. Get weird at Pease Park on Saturday, Apr. 26 from 11 am until dark, the children’s area will be open from 11 am – 4 pm and live music from noon – 6 pm. Admission is FREE! Austin Parks: Red Bud Isle

Red Bud Isle may be more familiar to dog lovers than parents, but the small peninsula offers beautiful views and freedom for all. It is an ideal setting for children to walk their own dog without too much oversight. Red Bud Isle is a wonderful place to see wildlife, from Great Blue Herons and American Coots to squirrels and turtles outwitting the canine crowd.
