Sound & Cinema continues on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at the Long Center with a free screening of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and a performance from The Octopus Project. The fun starts around 6 pm and will continue until about 10:30 pm.
Celebrate our Mexican free-tailed bat colony at the 10th Annual Bat Fest on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 4 pm – midnight on the Congress Ave. Bridge. Dress up your little bats for a costume contest, hear live music, check out arts and crafts, eat awesome food and enjoy children’s activities.

You’ll find tons of exhibits in everything from decks, pools, spas, plants, landscape displays and materials, kitchenware and much more, and the kids will have plenty to do in the Kid’s Zone (plus, kids are FREE)!
