Have you heard about this fun Nutcracker-inspired show featuring dogs doing circus tricks? Circus Chickendog is returning to The Vortex for the 5th year in a row with their production of the Mutt-Cracker (Sweet!). This show brings wacky holiday fun to kids of all ages.

This show stars six rescue dogs, a performing parrot, juggling, unicycling, balancing acts, puppets, accordion music and a live jazz piano rendition of Tchaikovsy’s “The Nutcracker Suite”. (All done in 55 minutes.)

• Sunday, December 27 – 4 p.m. (special show for toddlers), 6 p.m.
• Monday, December 28 – 6 p.m., 8 p.m.

• Friday, January 1 – 6 p.m., 8 p.m.
• Saturday, January 2 – 6 p.m., 8 p.m.
• Sunday, January 3 – 4 p.m. (special show for toddlers),  6 p.m.

— Tickets: Tickets are selling out fast for this show. Tickets are $15 for children and $25 for adults. You can order tickets online here or by calling 512-478-5282.

— Parking: Free Parking is available in front of The Vortex. Additional parking is available at Home Steam Cleaners after 6:30pm. Limited street parking is also available near The Vortex. If you wish to take the bus, it is located on Bus Route #20.
