Annual Dye-O-Rama @ Neill-Cochran House Museum
Friday, March 29 | Noon – 4 pm | FREE (donation-based for egg dyeing)
The Neill-Cochran House Museum opens its doors to feature a free day of activities including Easter egg dyeing, live music, scavenger hunts & lawn games! This event will take place outdoors on their spacious lawn. The Museum and grounds will be open to tour FOR FREE all day. The Museum will provide blown (emptied) eggs, dyes, wax resists, tables, chairs, and volunteers to offer help with the egg decorating process. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own boiled or blown eggs.  The suggested donation for each blown egg provided by NCHM is $2.00 with all proceeds benefiting ongoing programming at the museum. While the eggs dry, visitors are invited indoors to visit the historic house, slave quarters, and TWO contemporary art exhibits on display inside the Neill-Cochran House Museum.


Sweet Eats Egg Hunts
Through Sunday, March 31 | Various times here | Admission is $19.95, egg hunts are $10 per child
Sweet Eats Fruit Farm is such a cute family outing.  Purchase admission to the farm and then check out their Easter Egg Hunts, brunches, Baby Animal Day, and more. They also have an adult egg hunt that sounds like fun – check out all their options here.

10th Annual Balloons Over Horseshoe Bay
Saturday, March 30 | Check schedule here | Kids 12 & under are free with an accompanying adult.  Adult tickets are $32.84 and required parking is $22.34
Balloons Over Horseshoe Bay welcomes hot air balloons from all over the country along with fun activities like live music, an Easter egg drop, skydivers, balloon glows, great food, and more.  Check out all the info here and buy tickets herePlease note: this ticketed event includes both morning and evening events, but there is a gap from 10 am – 5 pm – please plan accordingly!

Easter Egg Hunt @ Meanwhile Brewing
Sunday, March 31 | 10 am – 2 pm | FREE (RSVP for kids
This egg hunt will start promptly at 10 am, so please plan to arrive early.  It’s open to all ages, but the recommended age is six and under. Please bring a basket for your child – once the eggs have been found, the egg hunt will conclude. There will also be Easter and Spring themed activities with Thinkery from 11 am – 2 pm. Please note: RSVP is requested for Meanwhile to get a head count for the egg hunt, but RSVP doesn’t guarantee participation.  Again – get there early!
