Jimmy Kimmel is coming back to Austin during the week of SXSW to film his hit show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the Long Center. If you want to request tickets for shows on Monday, Mar. 16 – Friday, Mar. 20, click here.

Please take note that this event is not for kids. You must be 18 and up to request tickets. We’re just trying to give you moms and dads a heads up about this cool event.

Once you go click over to that website, you will need to create an account to login and request tickets, but they are free. You will then be put on the wait list, and if the show can accommodate you, you’ll get an email with instructions.

Austin, TX – ABC announced today that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will return to Austin, Texas this spring to air five original shows beginning Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20. The show will hit the road for a weeklong trip, timed to the 29th annual SXSW – a unique convergence of original music, independent films and emerging technologies.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! will broadcast five original shows from The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts overlooking downtown Austin, Auditorium Shores and Lady Bird Lake. Jimmy will welcome celebrity guests, showcase musical performances and shoot comedy segments around Texas and at SXSW.

On returning to Texas, Jimmy Kimmel said, “We had so much fun in Austin last year, we’re doing it again. This time we might never come back.”

Last year’s successful broadcast from Austin, TX welcomed guests Lady Gaga, Seth Rogen, Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson, Gov. Rick Perry, Robert Duvall, Lil Wayne and Willie Nelson along with musical guests Aloe Blacc, White Denim, Damon Albarn and The Preatures. The show’s unforgettable weeklong trip to the Texas state capitol was capped off on Friday, March 14, 2014 when Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell declared the day as the city’s official “Jimmy Kimmel Day.”
