Starts Thursday, Nov. 5 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 22
Dust off your broomsticks, spell books and prepare your favorite wands! The Blue Starlite is bringing back last year’s smash hit event series! 3 weeks, 10 nights of HARRY POTTER at the Drive-in! Fun Fun Fun Fest will soon be taking over Auditorium Shores for three days of incredible music and comedy shows. And new this year, kids can check out Do512 Family’s Fun Lab! Families can party in their very own section of the festival dedicated to kids! Join us for a TON of free hands-on science and art activities such as building frankentoys, making stop motion animation, doing mad science experiments, 3D printing and a whole lot more science-focused awesomeness. — 24th Annual Austin Powwow @ Toney Burger Center
Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
This is the largest single day American Indian Powwow in the country. Offerings include Native American dancing, drumming, storytelling, native crafts, arts displays, and food vendors. Members representing nearly 80 different tribes from across the US and Canada will be in attendance. Ceremonial processions will occur at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 6 p.m. and dancers and drum groups will perform there throughout the day and evening. All ages are welcome. $5 suggested donation for adults, kids FREE.
