The 50th Anniversary of the Austin Trail of Lights is in full swing at Zilker Park. The annual event winds through 1.25 miles of Zilker Park, and will be open to the public through December 21. We stopped by the Preview Party that took place on December 5 to enjoy the sights, including more than 50 stunning custom displays, food, musicians, dancers and more.

This year is bigger and better than ever, with new and improved displays including The Globe, a GIGANTIC Ferris wheel, Toy Machine and Santa’s House (check out the Trail of Lights Insider’s Guide to find details on all of the must-see’s). Chi’lantro BBQ, Amy’s Ice Cream, Burro’s Cheese Kitchen and 25 other food trucks will also be there to provide edibles for the entire family to enjoy.
