Trunk-or-treat events have gained popularity over the last decade as a bonus or alternative to door-to-door Trick-or-Treating. There are lots of local, festive Halloween events coming up that will have treats, games, candy, and more for kids – check them out below!

Thursday, October 24
- Realty Texas Spooktacular | 6 pm – 8 pm | Wear your costumes and join the fun as you play games, receive candy, and take cute photos with their Halloween backdrop
Friday, October 25
- Trunk or Treat Halloween Party & Zombie Shoot | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm | This event will have trunk or treating, a costume contest, a Zombie shoot-out, and more. RSVP here
Saturday, October 26
- Mama Mary’s Trunk or Treat | Mama Mary’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch | 2 pm – 3 pm or until the candy runs out | This event is included in regular admission and is a chance for kids to get to see trucks and tractors up close! Get more info here.
- 8th Annual Trunk or Treat @ Balance Dance Studios | 5 pm | This event is FREE with RSVP – please note: face painting and extra activities will be available for a small fee, benefitting Balance Dance Companies.
Sunday, October 27
- Halloween Carnival @ Neill Cochran House Museum | 11 am – 3 pm | Come in costume (or PJs!) and trunk or treat, enjoy a scavenger hunt, games, and more! This event is FREE and open to the public and will be held on the NCHM lawn. Get more info here.
- Trunk-or-Treat @ FUMC Family Life Center | 12:15 pm | FUMC will provide the candy and toys – you provide the trunk and decorations. Get more info here
- Trunk-or-Treat @ First Presbyterian Church | 4:30 pm – 6 pm | This event will include treats, games, a costume parade, and hot dogs cooked by Scout Troup 511
- Trunk-or-Treat @ Travis County Sheriff’s Office | 5 pm – 7 pm | Get treats and see the units Bootifully Decorated!
Thursday, Oct. 31
- Trunk-or-Treat @ Smiles of Austin| 3 pm – 4:30 pm | *At their Austin location at 1910 W. 35th Street | Head to this event for candy, treats, and games through Smiles’ Tooth Town
