If you’re looking for a fresh take on kid-parties, here’s your list! After living through a pandemic, we’ve embraced a meaningful, memorable party over exhausting ourselves by throwing giant ones. (Though we know some birthdays call for the whole class, and we’ve got ya covered there, too!).
— Invite a few of your kiddos’ besties and plan:
- a bounce house obstacle course, or laser tag parties that come to you.
- an escape room
- a slumber party with a 90s movies theme. We’re thinking of The Sandlot, Spy Kids, and Blank Check
- take a couple of friends to Pinballz Kingdom and everyone gets an arcade card and a few rounds of go-karting
- K1 Speed or COTA Karting for older kids
- Tiny Tails to You for a mobile petting zoo
— Sometimes you’re gonna want to invite the whole class. Some ideas for big parties:
— Throw it back old school with a Roller Skating Party
Playland Skate Center has something for everyone. A little arcade, lots of food choices, and of course, roller skating and rollerblading! You could make this a big ol’ party or invite just a few friends. Playland has options big and small here.
— Water Park Fun for Late Spring and Summer Birthdays
Typhoon Texas is a great spot for birthday parties. It’s big enough to keep kids engaged, and small enough to keep track of everyone with a home base of the picnic tables for parties. Parties include eight tickets (and you can add up to six more), so it’s a smaller party that packs a big punch. You can get more info here.
— Austin Zoo Birthday Parties
Austin Zoo has tons of options for party packages, as well as private party venues and add-ons to make your little one’s party super special. You can check out all their options here.
