Pollyanna Theatre Company has a new family show with an interesting look at what it’s like to live among two different cultures. Young Bear: The Story of Frances Slocum is their latest children’s play that’s inspired by the true events of a young girl who lived with Native Americans in the Mid-West in the 1800s. The play follows her personal journey through the eyes of a young child and takes children on an imaginative journey through a different time and place.
This children’s play is showing at the Long Center on Saturdays and Sundays May 14 & 15 and May 21 & 22. Created by award-winning playwright Lou Clark, this play is designed for children in grades 2-5.
