This locally-owned skate shop is a favorite among Austin skaters. Located conveniently adjacent to House Park, No-Comply is stocked with decks, gear, shoes, merch, and more. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a complete skateboard to get started or an expert looking for a limited edition deck, No-Comply won’t steer you wrong. No-Comply’s Skateboard Buying Guide is helpful to youngsters ages 5+ looking to learn more about their ideal board. Shop online for curbside pickup or check out their store. Apparition Skateboards

Tucked away on the southern tip of the drag, Apparition Skateboards is an easy shop to pop into if you live anywhere close to campus. They have everything you need to build your custom dream deck with assorted shapes for all ages and riding styles! Check out Apparition Skateboards on Instagram for regular inventory updates. SKATE PARKS
Heath Eiland and Morgan Moss BMX Skate Park
1213 Shoal Creek Blvd (House Park)
Perhaps the most well-known and well-traversed skate park in the Austin area is the Heath Eiland and Morgan Moss BMX Skate Park (colloquially known as House Park). Perfect for beginners and experts alike, there are small ramps, curbs, mini half pipes, ledges, and even a humongous bowl if you’re feeling brave. Don’t forget to wear your protective gear!
Northeast Metropolitan Skate Park
15500 Sun Light Near Way (Plugerville)
A bit of a drive away, the Plugerville Skate Park is worth the extra distance because of it’s great selection of obstacles that allow skaters of all skills to try their tail at a line or two. The park has recently reopened after closing in early March. Patrons can now visit the skate park from 8 AM – 8 PM.
Patterson Park
4200 Brookview Rd
If you’re looking for something a bit more scenic, Patterson Park is located near the Mueller development and features a perfect cement half-pipe surrounded by trees on one side and wide open spaces on the other! Once you’ve had enough ollie practice, explore the rest of the park’s amenities that make a perfect family outing!
