Family-Friendly Happy Hours

Happy hour with kids in tow? While happy hour may no longer be a post-work ritual like in those pre-parenting days, when 5pm rolls around and you’re ready to kick back responsibly with an adult beverage, there are plenty of places to go in Austin — where the kids are welcome, too.  Let us know your favorite family-friendly happy hour spot in the comments below!

*And of course, before you head out with the kids, don’t forget to you have your designated driver or favorite ride-share at the ready!  Updated 2023.

  2. I LOVED Zocalo Cafe! A great Mexican place!

The food was amazing and the environment great! Super friendly people working there and a cute restaurant!

We were 5 people and we could taste a lot of different meals. Everything was well served, except for my place (ceviche) that was relatively small but still very good! For my taste, a little bit spicy though.
