Happy valentine’s Day, sweeties. Hugs to you, for being a fan of Do512 Family, it makes us so happy, you have no idea!

Today:

— The Valentine’s Day Party at Millie & Mox will be an all-day sale with 20 percent off all red and pink apparel. There will also be a kids cake pop decorating class from 3:30 – 4:30 pm provided by the Silver Whisk Cooking School. Space is limited so you must RSVP by emailing [email protected]. Juice and snacks will be served all day.

— Paint Candy Hearts at the Family Day at Painting with a Twist, where ages 7 and up can get step-by-step instruction from a local artist on how to complete a specific painting. You are welcome to bring food and drinks for your kiddos. $35 per person, register here.

— Take a Light o’ the Moon Float Trip on the Colorado River at McKinney Roughs Nature Park tonight from 7 – 11 pm. Ages 7 and up (participants must know how to swim) can go on a gentle ride down the river under the full moon. $50 per person, register here (click on the blue box in the top right corner that says “Register Now”).

Tomorrow:

— Moms are invited to join Do512 Family for a Free Workout at Castle Hill Studio with Total Mommy Fitness founder, Tatum Rebelle at 9 am. This class is free, but an RSVP is required and we will be checking names (this is due the space of the studio, we want everyone to have room), RSVP here. We’ll have snacks from KIND and smoothies from The Soup Peddler afterward.

Engineers Day at the Thinkery will be a day of engineering activities where kids can make a hoop glider, build a spaghetti bridge, construct a super golf tower or make a paper helicopter. First 300 kids get in free, otherwise the general admission rate of $9/person apples. 10 am – 2 pm.

— Children’s musicians, Jungle Jill and the Jaybirds, will perform the Free Kids Show at Strange Brew at 10 am.

— Papas, have a Daddy Play Date at Toybrary Austin and play with blocks with your littles. It can be your special Valentine’s date! $3/child, 10:30 am.

Sunday:

Little Red Chunari continues at Scottish Rite Theater with showtimes at 1:30 & 3:30 pm. Audiences are loving this Bollywood style, Indian version of Little Red Riding Hood, complete with music and dancing. Read our review and get your tickets today, they’re $6 for kids 12 and under, $9 for 13 and up.

— The amazing Sherwood Forest Faire continues at the Sherwood Fairegrounds, just 20 – 30 minutes outside of Austin. See awesome renaissance shows and costumes, feast, drink to ye’s delight and wear a costume for goodness sake, just because it’s fun. Open from 10 am – dusk every Saturday and Sunday in February and March (and Friday, March 14). Tickets are $9 – $20, depending on your age and whether or not you pay online (you can save $ if you buy online!). Also, on Sundays you can buy one get one when you buy at the gate (every weekend besides closing weekend)!

— Ages 6 and up are invited to paint an Oval Monogram at Pinot’s Palette on an 8×10 canvas. Class is from 2 – 3:30 pm, $25 per person, sign up here.
