Farmers Markets in Austin
Austin has no shortage of fresh fruits and veggies. Just about any day of the week, you can head on over to a farmers market to take advantage of all the delicious in-season fruits and vegetables. While you're there, listen to live music, sample local cheeses, browse local handmade crafts booths, let the kids create their own playground, watch chef demos and be proud that you are supporting local farmers and artisans. Plus, it is a great way to get kids excited about trying vegetables they've never tried before! Here is a breakdown of our favorite Farmers Markets in Austin:

Old Settler’s Music Festival
It's time once again for the annual Old Settler's Music Festival, going down from Thursday, Apr. 10 - Sunday, Apr. 13 at Salt Lick pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch. This festival has been going strong since 1987, and has maintained its down-home, friendly, Texas vibe. You'll hear lots of music, eat awesome food, attend workshops, camp, let the kids play in the youth area and kick back with plenty of cold beers (if you want).
