Lions and tigers and bears (at night) — oh my! The kids will love visiting the Austin Zoo’s annual Boo at the Zoo this month. Children can put on their costumes and enjoy an evening strolling the through the zoo and peek at the animals by flashlight. The Zoo will be illuminated and decorated for Halloween at this fun event happening on Fridays and Saturdays in October (October 9 & 10, 16 & 17, 23 & 24, and 30) from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Come in costume, ride the Haunted Train and explore the Haunted House.
Pack your own picnic to bring along and enjoy in the Picnic Grove. Also, Scotty Roo and Christini will be hosting interactive shows featuring original songs, dances and animal puppets!
–> Tickets: Get your tickets for Boo at the Zoo by calling 512-288-1490 or stopping by the Austin Zoo Gift Shop. Tickets are $12.50 per person and include a train pass and unlimited visits inside the Haunted House.
