Get ready for Pflugerville’s most popular festival, the Deutschen Pfest, held at Pfluger Park on Friday, May 20 through Sunday, May 22. This annual event is always packed with good times for the whole family with carnival rides, games, shopping booths, a parade, live music, petting zoo, puppet show, a 5K fun run — and lots more.

download_asset–> Fun for Kids: On Saturday and Sunday, kids can have a blast in the children’s area. It’s open from noon – 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon – 5 p.m. on Sunday.  No wristband is required in the children’s area. Kids can enjoy:

  • a petting farm
  • kiddie train
  • inflatables
  • balloon twisting
  • face painting
  • puppet shows performed at the top of every hour between 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Deutschen Pfest Parade – Saturday, May 21
Check-in: 8 a.m.
Judging: 9 a.m.
Parade Start: 10 a.m.
Children’s Parade Start: 10:45 a.m.

Deutschen Pfest 5K – Sunday, May 22
Chip-timed 5K starts at 8 a.m.
Untimed Kid’s K follows at 9 a.m.

  • Sunday, May 22 -> 11 – 5 p.m.

–> Admission: $5 Friday, $7 Saturday, $5 Sunday. Children ages 6 & under are free. You can also get in free when wearing a Deutschen Pfest T-shirt, which is available for purchase at City Hall and the Recreation Center.
