Neal Kassanoff, the founder of Groundwork Music Project has been working with elementary students throughout the current school year to help students learn the fundamentals of singing and playing music, and this is the change for the children to show off their skills. Audience members are encouraged to sing along, bringing a participatory spirit to the event.

Groundwork Music Project enhances the lives of children by providing free and low cost music classes to schools with limited means. These programs provide the musical activities that are essential to healthy development across a broad spectrum: emotional, cognitive, social and more. The mission of the Groundwork Music Project is simple: to provide high quality music education programs to young children who could not otherwise afford it.

This free event is sponsored in large part by City of Austin’s Cultural Arts Funding. Groundwork Music Project welcomes donations as the organization heads into its spring pledge drive.
