–Bee Cave Central Park
Here you’ll find beautiful trails, two playgrounds, basketball courts and a dog park. There are plenty of open space for little to explore, and Bee Cave Central Park is a great place to make friends. If you have toddlers, make sure to visit the toddler playground. Drive past the main park, and towards the end. This playground is usually less crowded too since it’s a bit hidden.
–Hill Country Galleria
This outdoor shopping mall has everything you need — yummy restaurants, great shops, fun events, and outside space to run. In the summer, the kiddos love the splash pad. During the holidays, the Hill Country Galleria has a beautiful tree and fun Christmas installations. Make sure to checkout both sets of rainbow steps for a colorful photo opp. These steps are at the parking garages near Dillards. — Bee Cave Public Library
This is the sweetest little library with the best kids section. Pre-pandemic we were regulars at story time. We can’t wait until it’s back in session. Story time is a fabulous week day activity for toddlers and another good way to meet mamas or meetup with old friends. For now, young readers can checkout books using no-contact pickup at Bee Cave Public Library.
— Feeding the ducks at the Hill Country Galleria
Here’s a fun quick activity to give your littles a break from running errands. Park by Saltgrass Steak House and walk around the pond to feed the ducks. A pair of adorable Bee Cave mini entrepreneurs just opened a new duck food dispenser too!
— Sculpture Park
The Bee Cave Sculpture Park is a cute art installation that’s perfect for kids to explore. There are interesting sculptures, a spring-fed pond, and beautiful big trees for lots of shade. This is park is small enough that it’s easy for toddlers to run around. Another fun and less populated spot to meet with friends outdoors! (Read more about tour visit to this park here.)
