We’re thrilled to partner with and Mobile Loaves and Fishes’ Community Cinema for two special drive-in family movie nights this month! Bring the kids for a safe, socially distanced screening of Trolls World Tour at the Community First! Village drive-in on Friday, May 14 where our friends from Little Beast Slider Company will be serving up delicious bites for you and your own little beasts. Then, join us on Friday, May 21 for a pizza party and screening of the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. At both events your family’s night out can include dinner and a movie in one easy combo!

Get to know Community! First Village
For those who are not familiar, Community First! Village is WAY more than a drive-in movie theater. This one-of-a-kind, nationally-recognized, master-planned community was designed for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. Even more than providing homes for its residents, it’s a unique space for the Austin community that includes a blacksmith forge, an impressive organic garden, most importantly, it’s “a revolution in goodness”.

Established by Austin nonprofit, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and inspired by CEO Alan Graham’s philanthropic passion, this community provides affordable, permanent housing and support. This transformative residential program offers a place for individuals to rediscover hope and restore their dignity, and it’s a place they can call home.
