Springdale Farm is committed to growing produce for anyone in the area interested in eating fresh, local food and works daily to create a sustainable future “for ourselves and our community.” The family operated urban farm grows over 75 seasonal vegetable varieties and operates a popular public farm stand every Wednesday and Saturday morning. Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ SFC Farmers Market at Republic Square
Austin Parks Foundation is proud to present the imagination playground, an adaptable playscape designed to encourage unstructured free play. It affords a variety of play patterns, from construction to pretend play to rough and tumble play. It encourages children to exercise problem-solving skills and complex thinking. It promotes communication, collaboration and inter-age play. Children love it!

Every Saturday, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. @ Northwest Recreation Center
They offer free open play! No charge to play, just stop by and have fun. All ages welcome.
— Free Hockey Class
Select Sundays @ Chaparral Ice
Give Hockey a try for free on select Sundays at the Northcross location, by appointment only. This is a great way to see if your child would be interested in getting involved in hockey. Make an appointment to let the kids give it try it!
