Austin’s newest tennis team, the Austin Aces, will hold a Family Tennis Festival on Saturday, June 14 from 10 am – 1 pm at the Hill Country Galleria Outdoor Amphitheater. This free event will be fun for all ages.
Team mascot, Ace, will make a special appearance, and there will be prizes and giveaways for the whole family. Kids can enjoy a mini-tennis interactive area and take advantage of special Aces tickets and merchandise offers.
The Austin Aces is part of the Mylan World TeamTennis (WTT) organization, who are bringing tennis to you like you’ve never seen it. The biggest names in tennis will be playing together in an innovative team format. The WTT season is three weeks each July, but the Aces will have a year-round presence in Austin through clinics, charitable giving, community outreach and special events. Team members include Andy Roddick, Marion Bartoli, Vera Zvonareva, Eva Hrdinova, John Lloyd and Treat Huey.
The matches will be family-friendly with autograph sessions after the match for kids 16 and under, and they have a Kids Club and Kids Zone!
