Winter Break Camps in Austin

Austin Bouldering Project
Two locations: Springdale and Westgate
ABP Camps are geared for youth ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12 and offer plenty of climbing and social time. ABP’s Instructors will guide new and experienced climbers through engaging activities that keep kids’ minds and bodies active. Campers will learn basic climbing techniques, and terminology and play games both on and off the wall. Get more info here.


Cordovan Art School

Cordovan Art School offers Winter Break Camps for kids 5-12 in December (and January at some locations).  They have morning, afternoon, and full-day camps with selections like pottery, ornament making, and more.  Themes vary at each location, and you can get more info and register here.


Fantastic Magic Camp
Journey Church in Crestview
Kids ages 5-13 will have a blast at Fantastic Magic Camp!  Winter camp runs from December 23 through January 3, and you can choose from one-day camp to a special two-week session. Camper’s days will be filled with fun, adventure, and discoveries.  Since 1993, Fantastic Magic Camp has incorporated magic, juggling, puppetry, and a LOT of fun to foster empathy and cooperation while also building children’s self-esteem.  Get more info and register here.


My Coding Place

My Coding Place’s goal is to teach problem-solving skills through coding and chess to kids and teens in Austin.  Their teachers are coders or chess players and their mission is to expose kids and teens to the art of computer programming and broader STEM topics to learn to think critically.  Students will learn to translate logic to code by building cool projects to practice and reinforce concepts through different tools.  Check out their winter camp schedules, as well as upcoming spring camps here.
