On Saturday, Feb. 7, you can take the family to the downtown Whole Foods Market rooftop plaza for the Austin Alternative School Fair from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Learn about some of Austin’s unique educational programs. You’ll also be able to participate in hands-on activities and enjoy a free performance from Lucas Miller, the Singing Zoologist at 1 p.m.
You’ll learn about different schools and other educational programs serving students from preschool age through high school. Each booth will have something interesting to engage your kids while you talk to the educators about their unique offerings. This event is hosted by Education Transformation Alliance and sponsored by Alt Ed Austin, Whole Foods Market, and Free Fun in Austin.
