When you’re ready to pack up your holiday decorations and take down your Christmas tree, you have some easy options for recycling your tree. If you are a City of Austin curbside customer, you can simply leave it out for pick up, or you can drop it off for recycling at 2304 Rollingwood Dr. on specific days noted below.
— Curbside Recycling: City of Austin asks that you please remove all decorations from tree. Trees will be composted into Dillo Dirt™. Please set out your tree by 6:30 a.m. on your trash and yard trimmings collection day and remove all decorations and stands from the tree. Trees over 6 feet should be cut in half.
— Drop-off Recycling: Note that there is a new location this year. Austin residents can drop off their trees (decorations and stands removed) for recycling at 2304 Rollingwood Dr. between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on:
