Today:

— Parents, if you’re in need of a date night, or a take-a-nap night, there are three Kid’s Night Out opportunities:

— Have some pfun at Deutschen Pfest, happening all weekend at Pfluger Park. There will be carnival rides, games, a parade, a fun run and Kids 1K plus many other family friendly activities. Admission is $5 on Friday, $7 on Saturday and $5 on Sunday.

— Are you a Longhorn fan? Today & tomorrow you can Take a Photo with BEVO at the Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium from 10 am – 1 pm. Enter the stadium at the north end of 23rd St., pay at the window inside the food court area and then get ready to take an awesome picture. $25/person, $40/two people, $50/three or more, fees allow purchaser to download, print and share the photos.

Tomorrow:

— Austin’s newest cable wakepark, Quest ATX, is having a Grand Opening Crawfish Boil from 2 pm – dark with an open bar, live music, mini ramp jams, horseshoe competitions and more. See what this new wakeboard park has to offer for your family this summer! Tickets are $20 if you buy online in advance, $25 at the door, kids 10 and under are free.

— The First Annual Natural Living Festival at Casa de Luz is the place to be to connect with resources to help you live a happy and sustainable life. Open from 12 – 5 pm, the fest will have mind-body classes, children’s performers and entertainment, local and national product lines, vendors, samples and demos. Admission and activities/classes are FREE, and kids can eat free at Casa de Luz (one per adult). More info and schedule.

— The tale of Addy Plus and Minus Takeaway continues with The Vacation Adventure, the latest production from the Pollyanna Theatre Company. This play is recommended for ages 4 and up and will bring pre-kindergarten math concepts to life while entertaining the littles. Shows are at the Rollins Theatre at 2 pm and 4 pm on Saturday and 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10 – $13.50 and you can buy them here.

— Kids can create faere miniature gardens using live plants and natural materials at the Faerie Landscaping Workshop at Zilker Botanical Gardens. There will be two sessions, one from 9 – 11 am and another from 12 – 2 pm. After the session, kids can take home their knowledge and invite faeries into their own backyard! Cost is $5 per participant + $25 garden kit, register here.

Sunday:

— Celebrate The Grandest Opening at Toy Joy and Cafe Ruckus from 12 – 4 pm. Enjoy drink samples and latte art from Cafe Ruckus, plus music from DJ Digg and activities like face painting, giant bubble demos and raffles. Adoptable pets will also be on hand, as well as unicorn carriage rides (starting at 2 pm)! The event is free, to take a spin on a unicorn carriage there will be a $5 fee.

Pinocchio continues at ZACH Theatre at 2:30 pm. Shadow, puppetry and illusion give this classic tale a fresh new spin. Tickets are $14 – $16 and you can purchase them here.

— Pack up the fam and head to Wooldridge Square Park for a Free Family Yoga Class at 11 am. Class will be led by The Little Yoga House, bring your own mat and have fun!
