We decided it was time to make a list of some of our favorite places that typically have last-minute and walk-in appointments, as well as the ones you’ll want to book in advance.

Some local hotels seem to always have same-day appointments, we assume because, well…they’re pricey. If you’re looking to splurge (and get a full spa experience), check out: The Fairmont Spa, The Spa at the Four Seasons, Miraval Austin, Spa Viata, and Omni Barton Creek.
Book Ahead Massages
It seems to us that the demand is higher than the supply for spa treatments in Austin, so you’d be hard-pressed to find a Groupon deal…but that never stops us from checking for what local specials might be happening. Check for Groupon Deals before you go.

- Lake Austin Spa Resort | Though pricey, you get a lot of bang for your buck at Lake Austin Spa. They offer a full gamut of spa treatments and a large facility with private lockers, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, outdoor pools, sauna, steam room, and more. You can even have a healthy lunch at The Aster Cafe.
