Austin Motel – 1220 S Congress Ave.
Dive into endless summer at the Austin Motel seven days a week, even if you aren’t an overnight guest. Pool passes are available from 11 am to 10 pm, with weekday passes (Monday through Thursday) starting at $25, and weekends (Friday through Sunday) begining at $50. And the best news? Kids five years old and younger are free. New for 2025, the Austin Motel Pool is offering poolside cabanas for reservation. Each cabana includes shaded sofa seating and fans, and guests receive towel service and all amenities included in the day pass. Additionally, the motel’s hidden courtyard bar, Rocky’s Bar, is celebrating its grand reopening with a new menu of deicious tropical drinks and boozy shaved ice. Carpenter Hotel – 400 Josephine St
Enjoy pool service from the onsite restaurant, Carpenters Hall, read a book, have a midday Margarita, and enjoy a peaceful swim. Pool passes are available by the day or by the month. Monday through Thursday passes are $45 per person, and on Sundays, passes are $35 per person.
East Austin Hotel – 1108 E 6th St
Find a spot under the pink pillars and enjoy a courtyard pool just above the ever-changing east side of town. Lay back on vintage-inspired loungers before you cool off in the blue waters at the East Austin Hotel. Monday through Thursday, passes are $30, and weekend passes are $40.
Fairmont – 101 Red River St.
With views overlooking the city, Fairmont’s large pool area features a pool and whirlpool along with food and drink service. Book a day pass for $45/per adult and $35/per child (infants are free). There are plenty of extra options for daybeds and cabanas, too!
Hotel Magdalena – 1101 Music Lane
Take part in their Sunbathers Society in the heart of South Congress that offers a weekday pool pass, valid Monday — Thursday from 3 – 10 pm. Towels are provided, and you can enjoy food and drinks from the Magdalena Bar. You can purchase your pass on Resort Pass for $40 per adult and $30 per child.
Hotel Van Zandt – 605 Davis St
For $25/adult and $15/child, you can reserve a day pass at the Van Zandt to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and watch it from above in the pool, soaking it all in. They also have daybeds and cabanas starting at $100 here.
Hyatt Regency Austin – 208 Barton Springs Rd
The most impressive aspect of this pool is the incredible view of the skyline and Lady Bird Lake. Relax and refresh in the pool and adjacent whirlpool for a day of fun for the whole family. Passes are $25/per adult and $20/per child.
Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort – 575 Hyatt Lost Pines Road, Lost Pines
Set on 400 acres of rustic natural beauty along the banks of the lower Colorado River, the resort is known for its water park, which features a lazy river, waterslide, and sandy beach area. A day pass is $50, and there’s so much to do and Hyatt Lost Pines, it’s well worth the price.
Lakeway Resort and Spa – 101 Lakeway Dr.
If you have getaway dreams but a stay-put budget, Lakeway Resort has the perfect solution for your summer dilemma. A 20-minute drive from the city, you’ll feel worlds away as you look out over the lake from its multi-tiered pools. Offering an adult swim-up bar, as well as a kids’ waterslide and splash pad, all you need is $40/adult and $25/child, and you can live out your resort dreams without having to go past the Colorado River.
The LINE Hotel – 111 E Cesar Chavez St
Overlooking Lady Bird Lake, The Line offers a relaxed spot to hang out and even watch the bats while you sip on a cocktail poolside. It also doesn’t hurt that Veracruz is available for a poolside snack. Day passes include complimentary self-parking and are priced at $40/adult and $25/child.
Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark – 4140 Governors Row
You can spend your day floating between the connected outdoor and indoor heated pools or opt for a soak in the indoor hot tub. Day passes start at $25/per adult and $15/per child. Note that cabanas are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
