Austin Motel – 1220 S Congress Ave.
Dive into endless summer at the Austin Motel seven days a week, even if you aren’t an overnight guest. Pool passes are available daily for 3-hour blocks from 11 am – 10 pm. Passes are $25 per person Monday – Thursday and $50 per person Friday – Sunday and reservations are recommended. Adult night swim passes are also available from 5 – 10 pm, and limited summer memberships are still available. Carpenter Hotel400 Josephine St
Enjoy pool service from the onsite restaurant, Carpenters Hall, read a book, have a midday Margarita, and enjoy a peaceful swim.  Pool passes are available by the day or monthly. Monday through Thursday passes are $45 per person, and on Sundays, passes are $35 per person.


East Austin Hotel

East Austin Hotel – 1108 E 6th St
Find a spot under the pink pillars and enjoy a courtyard pool just above the ever-changing east side of town. Lay back on vintage-inspired loungers before you cool off in the blue waters at the East Austin Hotel.  For $40, you can get a day pass plus parking for a daycation.  (Children five and under are free with an adult.)

With views overlooking the city, Fairmont’s large pool area features a pool and whirlpool along with food and drink service. Book a day pass for $45/per adult and $40/per child (infants are free). There are plenty of extra options for daybeds and cabanas, too!

Hotel Magdalena – 1101 Music Lane
Take part in their Sunbathers Society in the heart of South Congress that offers a weekday pool pass, valid Monday — Thursday from 3 – 10 pm. Towels are provided, and you can enjoy food and drinks from the Magdalena Bar.  You can purchase your pass on Resort Pass for $80 per adult and $20 per child.

Hotel Van Zandt605 Davis St
For $25/adult and $15/child, you can reserve a day pass at the Van Zandt to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and watch it from above in the pool, soaking it all in.  They also have daybeds and cabanas starting at $100 here.

The most impressive aspect of this pool is the incredible view of the skyline and Lady Bird Lake. Relax and refresh in the pool and adjacent whirlpool for a day of fun for the whole family. Passes are $19/per adult and $11/per child.

Set on 400 acres of rustic natural beauty along the banks of the lower Colorado River, the resort is known for its water park featuring a lazy river, waterslide, and sandy beach area.  A day pass is $50 for adults on weekdays and $75 on weekends. Kids’ passes start at $25 and there’s so much to do and Hyatt Lost Pines, it’s well worth the price.

If you have getaway dreams but a stay-put budget, Lakeway Resort has the perfect solution for your summer dilemma. A 20-minute drive from the city, you’ll feel worlds away as you look out over the lake from its multi-tiered pools. Offering an adult swim-up bar, as well as a kids’ waterslide and splash pad, all you need is $40/adult and $20/child, and you can live out your resort dreams without having to go past the Colorado River.

Overlooking Lady Bird Lake, The Line offers a relaxed spot to hang out and even watch the bats while you sip on a cocktail poolside. It also doesn’t hurt that Veracruz is available for a poolside snack. Day passes include complimentary self-parking and are priced at $40/adult and $25/child.

Shady Villa Hotel, which is just a quick 45-minute drive from Austin, is offering sun seekers and day trippers daily pool passes based on availability.  Their hotel bar, Shady Villa Pool Club, offers a robust menu of snacks, cocktails, beer, and wine. Day passes are $20/day for 13+, $10 for kids 2-12, and free for babies under 2. You can book by calling the Front Desk at (254) 947-5111.
