Blue Genie Art Bazaar

With just SEVEN shopping days left until Christmas, here’s something to be thankful for: the Blue Genie Art Bazaar. Open daily from 10 am – 10 pm (until 6 pm on Dec. 24), the Bazaar is a fixture of the Austin holiday shopping season, offering up cool and unique gift ideas from more than 140 local vendors. That’s right, even though you only have a week to shop, avoid the temptation to admit defeat and hit up CVS for every possible type of gift card.

Now in its 13th year at the Marchesa Hall & Theatre, the Blue Genie Art Bazaar is an annual arts show with two added benefits – you can find unique holiday gifts AND do some good, since a portion of the proceeds goes to Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas.

The bazaar offers a wide variety of homemade, imaginative and beautiful gifts that have been selected through a rigorous jury process. Expect to find paintings, photography, prints, sculptures, jewelry, clothing, accessories, glassworks, ceramics, and more. Admission and parking are free, just be sure to bring a reusable bag to stash all the goodies you find!
