Oooh, we love all of the gorgeous bluebonnet sightings all over Austin these days! What a great year for wildflowers. If you haven’t yet found your favorite spot for taking photos in the bluebonnets, you’ll be interested to know that the Lower Colorado River Authority noted that flowers just began popping at the Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area, which was called the “2014 Field of Dreams” by the Texas Bluebonnet Sightings website for such a magnificent display last year. According to the LCRA, the next couple of weeks will be a great time to head out to see the wildflowers. Muleshoe Bend is in Spicewood on Lake Travis, about 40 minutes west of Austin.
