It’s set amongst towering pecan and oak trees along 600 feet of the Blanco River, where you can bring your whole family to spread out or invite friends to join you at this sprawling private vacation destination. The property includes several buildings which can accommodate up to 16 guests so you can enjoy a full campground takeover!
Camp Blanco includes The Ranger, The Brownie, The Kookaburra, The Daisy, and The Tagalongs! These adorable tributes to Girl Scout lingo translates into:
— The Ranger: 2 bed/1.5 bath freestanding main house. (Sleeps 4)
— The Brownie: Separate bunkhouse with 6 beds, kitchenette and lounge space. (Sleeps 6 – no bathroom)
— The Kookaburra: Enormous game room connected to The Brownie featuring Poker table, Shuffleboard, Pool Table, Foosball & 82” inch TV that opens to an outside patio space.
— The Daisy: 2 bed/1 bath freestanding guest house. (Sleeps 4)
— The Tagalongs: 2 teepee style tents with full-size beds for true authentic camping. (Sleeps 2-4 – no bathroom or electricity)
As for activities, kids of all ages will have a blast in the Kookaburra game room and making s’mores, of course, but you can also explore the land, hike down to the river, go for a swim, kayak the crystal blue water, go geocaching, rent a golf-kart and have it delivered to you, hire a private fishing guide who will bring his boat to you and take your crew out for some fly fishing, or bring your own rod and fish from the banks! You could also take a day trip into town and explore all that Blanco has to offer.
