Looking for the perfect Christmas tree to decorate this year? Perhaps you’d like to take a short drive to a Christmas tree farm to cut down your own. Located in Elgin, TX, this Christmas tree farm will stay open until Dec. 10 (or while tree supplies last) They provide all the tools you need to cut your own tree featuring a selection of choose-n-cut Virginia Pines for 2023, as well as pre-cut Fraser Fir and Blue Spruce trees.

You can also enjoy their ticketed and free attractions!  Ticketed attractions include a giant slide, bounce house, and train ride, and free attractions (for those purchasing a tree) include a giant hay maze, playground, and more.  You can also grab corn dogs, nachos, funnel cakes, sno cones, hot chocolate, or coffee from the Elgin Snack Shack.

Also located in Elgin, the Evergreen Christmas Tree Farm give everyone the chance to choose their perfect Christmas tree with a selection of cut-your-own Virginia Pine.  Due to the drought, they’ve also brought in Fraser Fir and Noble Fir pre-cut trees. After choosing your tree, Elgin Farms also has games to entertain the kids like tetherball, a maze, hopscotch and a playground. There is also a nature trail, farm animals and a gift shop. On the weekends, families can enjoy several additional activities on weekends. This minimalist tree farm in Luling opens the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a variety of Virginia Pine choose and cut trees, as well as pre-cut Fraser, Noble, Nordman, and Douglas Fir. Abrameit’s is open through the second week of December, or until trees sell out. To inquire about availability, call 512-468-2116.
