Water is one of the central components of life on earth. It also happens to be really fun to play around in. Thus, the 5th Annual Colorado River Ramble & Family Water Festival makes perfect sense. To put it plainly, it’s just a good idea. Seriously, who doesn’t like to frolic around in a nice body of water? Weirdos, that’s who.
The 5th Annual Colorado River Ramble & Family Water Festival is certainly a handful of a name, but that’s because it’s as fun as its name is long. Located in the alluring beauty of Fiesta Gardens, on The Expedition School grounds, the festival has made a name for itself as one of the best aquatically themed events in Austin. It’s all going down Sunday, Apr. 13 starting at 9 am.
Here is a video of the 2010 fest (note this year’s fest will be at The Expedition School, not the Redbud Center):
Beginner and competitive paddlers are invited to race! There are several races to choose from, including a 1K Kids SUP, canoe, kayak and sprint race.
