Living room dance parties…Who would have ever imagined this would be a trend for 2020? But this time, you’re invited to a much more elevated dance party than twirling around and singing “Baby Shark” with your toddler for the hundredth time. You can join the 14th annual Dancing with the Stars Austin from your own home on Saturday, December 5 at 7 p.m., as this wonderful charity event is going virtual this year! Eleven of Austin’s finest dancers will perform eye-catching routines for a chance to win the mirror ball trophy and to raise funds for Travis County child abuse victims.
Join the Center for Child Protection for a joyful night of philanthropy, surprises you don’t want to miss and of course, dancing! You can join the fun watching from your couch in your finest attire for a rare reason to get dressed up, or simply stay flexible in your yoga pants to dance along like no one is watching. 😉

Your ticket helps local children who need assistance: The Center for Child Protection is a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center and the only non-profit in Travis County involved in the investigation of crimes against children. For more than 30 years, the Center has been the first stop for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse and for children who have witnessed a violent crime.
The Center is a child-friendly, specially-equipped facility where children go for recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. All services are provided to children and their protective caregivers at no charge and are available in English and Spanish.
