At Pioneer Farms, you can walk right into the classic Dickens tale of “A Christmas Carol” and experience it like never before. Actors take you through an interactive theatrical presentation of this story in the historic buildings at Pioneer Farms. The “Ebeneezer’s Journey” events take place on Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13 from 7-10 p.m. There will be games, crafts, entertainment, and concessions in the dance hall, too.

Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future will come to life as you witness the unforgettable experience. And you’ll be playing the important role of Ebenezer Scrooge! Groups depart about every 12 min. You can expect your journey to take nearly an hour and a half.

The event organizers suggest that you wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoors because the journey takes you along a dirt and gravel path and through historic houses.

Tickets are $12 per person, which you can reserve in advance here. Reservations are recommended because space is limited. (Note, Saturday tickets are selling fast!).

Enjoy this unique way of celebrating the true meaning of the season.
