At this celebration in Cedar Park, you’ll enjoy music from a New Orleans Jazz band from 6-9 p.m., happy hour beer specials for those ages 21+, and a Mardi Gras-themed menu from their food truck.
— The 4th Annual Mardi Gras Dog Parade at ABGB
Saturday, March 2, 2 – 7 p.m.
What could be cuter than a doggie Mardi Gras parade? Dress up your furry family members and have them “bark for beads” at 4 p.m. The parade will take place in The ABGB parking lot, making one big, fun lap following a Second Line marching band. Live music at 5 p.m. Free fun for all ages. This event will be raising funds and awareness for Pug Rescue Austin.

Join AustinWerks at AFS for a fun-filled family friendly event celebrating Mardi Gras. Tickets are $10 for adults, kids ages 12 & under free. All are invited to enjoy the rich cultural offerings of this Slavic holiday, where there will be music, food, colorful costumes, games, and more. This event is free and family-friendly. There will be puppet theater, live music, dancing and a fire show!

Sunday, March 3, 2 – 5 p.m.
The New Orleans Jazz Band of Austin will play a Mardi Gras swing dance at historic Wessel’s Dance Hall. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $12 a person or $20 per couple available online here.
— 4th Annual Cherrywood Mardi Gras Parade
Tuesday, March 5, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
This is a family friendly event at E. 28th St. & French Place where you can dress up, decorate your float (aka wagon, bike, wheels of any kind), and bring your noisemakers & beads to share. You’ll walk down French Place to Cherrywood Green to celebrate at the pocket park.
