The weather is being so nice to us this weekend! Take advantage of it and take the whole family out for some environmentally conscious, techy fun. Recycled Robots happens on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 11 am – 3 pm. Make your very own robotic friend using recycled materials and colorful lights with The Contemporary Austin at Laguna Gloria. Every second Saturday of the month, The Contemporary Austin offers hands-on art-making workshops at Laguna Gloria, inspired by the exhibitions on view. Skip the movies, the mall can wait. For less than the cost of one movie, the whole family will get to see family-friendly performances, meet local artists, and make art to take home. This kind of family outing is priceless, and the fee is pretty darn close to that.
Admission per family is $10 for non-members, $5 for members and is recommended for kids age 2 -11.
No need to pre-purchase tickets. Just drop in, pay at the door and create!
