On Friday, June 17, join the Austin community for pancakes, a kids concert, games and more to support Family Eldercare’s annual summer fan drive. At Fan Fare Friday you can donate new box fans (or dollars) to help families in need stay cool during summer months. Start your Friday morning at the iconic Threadgill’s World Headquarters in downtown Austin for live music and fun for all ages!

–> Threadgill’s Pancake Pileup, 7 – 9 a.m.
Donors bringing a fan or $15 donation can pile up delicious pancakes as a sweet reward for their generosity.

–> Kids Concert & Activities, 9 – 11 a.m.
Help the kids know how important it is to give back to fellow Austinites in need. With a fan or monetary donation, the youngest philanthropists can enjoy the pancake pileup, face painting, a bounce house and a special performance by Joe McDermott & Mr. Will.

–> Gaming Stations, 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
AMD is hosting state of the art PlayStation, XBOX and desktop games that kids (and adults) can play from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Suggested donation of $15 or a fan ~ weather permitting).

–> Live Music, 12 – 2:45 p.m.

–> North Austin Drop-off locations: Want to make a donation, but can’t make to to the festivities downtown? On June 17th, donations will be accepted ALL DAY at Threadgill’s World Headquarters and ALL Cover 2 and Cover 3 locations from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Click here for location info.)
