We’re ready for some star spangled fun with family and friends to celebrate Independence Day. Now we just have to pick and choose which of these awesome events to attend! Here’s a round-up of 4th of July Events in the Austin area.

— Red, White & Blue Weekend: Round Rock Express vs. Iowa Cubs @ Dell Diamond
Game starts at 7:05 p.m., fireworks after the game
Enjoy an all-American July 4th at the ballgame! Tickets are $7 and up, and can be purchased online here.
— Bob Schneider’s 4th of July Bash @ Nutty Brown Cafe
6 p.m. doors, 7:30 p.m. show
Bob Schneider is back for his annual 4th of July Bash at the Nutty Brown Cafe with a spectacular fireworks show! Tickets start at $20 for general admission (all ages), and can be purchased online here.
— Bastrop Patriotic Festival @ Fisherman’s Park
parade at 10 a.m., events at 4 p.m., fireworks at dusk
The day starts with the Pet ‘n’ Pal Parade at 10 a.m. running through the downtown streets of Bastrop. Food & Drink booths open at Fisherman’s Park at 4 p.m. with some children’s activities as well. Live music begins about 5:30 p.m. followed by a speculator fireworks show with music of the Austin Symphonic Band playing in the background. Free event.

— Red, White & Blue BBQ @ Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa
6-9:30 p.m.
The resort will host a Texas-style Independence Day BBQ featuring Texas’ finest Oak Smoked BBQ, live music by Guy Forsyth, and an evening fireworks display. While dinner and the concert are only available to guests of the hotel and club members, anyone is welcome to view the fireworks show on the lawn. And we have 4 tickets to give away. 6-10 p.m.

— Austin Symphony H-E-B July 4th Concert & Fireworks @ Auditorium Shores/Vic Mathias Shores
Vendors open at 4 p.m., Concert starts at 8:30 p.m., fireworks start at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Head out in your patriotic ensemble for this annual Austin Tradition. Free fireworks, free live performance by the Austin Symphony, great food and drinks, and a variety of local Arts & Crafts vendors. FREE admission. Click here for more info, including parking suggestions.
— Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival @ Hill Country Galleria
6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Visitors can expect art vendors, festival food and treats, and several hill country fair rides and games for adults and children. Live music from Vallejo and KP & The Boom Boom. FREE admission and parking.
— Wells Branch 4th Fest @ Katherine Fleicher Park
Activities from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.
A parade starts at the Park at 10 a.m. When the parade returns, an afternoon of music by Off The Record, food from local restaurants, and activities for the kids around Katherine Fleischer Park. The Katherine Fleischer pool will be open and free to the public as well. For more info, click here.
— Round Rock Frontier Days Festival & Fireworks @ Old Settlers Park
Parade at 10 a.m., Frontier Days Festival opens at 12 p.m., fireworks at dark
Enjoy a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park and skydivers are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration. Independence Day festivities will begin with free watermelon at the Lakeview Pavilion and include music from the Austin Symphonic Band. Free event! Click here for more info.
— Cedar Park 4th of July Parade & Celebration @ Elizabeth Milburn Park
Parade at 10 a.m., celebration starts at 4 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Parade will begin at Cedar Park Center, traveling down Discovery Blvd. to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. Enjoy live music, inflatables, free watermelon, bingo, washer tournament, face painting, carnival games and rides, and fireworks. Click here for more info.
— Georgetown’s Sertoma 4th of July Celebration @ San Gabriel Park
Activities begin at 11 a.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
The festivities include over 60 Arts and Craft booths, 20 food vendors, kiddie rides, bounce houses, games, and a petting zoo. Musical entertainment will begin at the Gazebo at noon and will continue all day. A “Hometown Parade”, sponsored by the Leadership Georgetown Alumni begins at 11 a.m. at the low water crossing, ending at the Gazebo. FREE, but donations accepted at the Park as you exit. — Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival @ Lake Pflugerville
6-11 p.m.
Watercraft rentals, live music, a children’s area, dozens of food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, businesses on display — all before the pfantastic fireworks show. Note that there is no on-site parking. Click here for more info.
— Kyle’s Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Show @ Plum Creek Golf Course
Activities from 6-10 p.m., fireworks around 9:30 p.m.
Plum Creek Golf Course will host a July 4th golf tournament beginning after lunch. Starting at 6 p.m., the pre-show celebration at the PCGC Clubhouse is free to the public and includes live music and fantastic viewing. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be sold under the large tent, along with other snacks. No outside food or drink permitted on the golf course property. The free public program starts off at 7pm. — Red, White & Buda @ Buda City Park
Parade at 9 a.m., activities from 7-10pm, fireworks at 9:30pm
Decorate your bike, wagon, scooter or stroller for the parade on Main Street. Awards will be given to the best decorated bikes and additional activities will take place after the parade at Buda City Park. Bring a picnic, a blanket or your lawn chair to Buda City Park for evening activities and fireworks. Free! Click here for more info.
— SummerFest San Marcos @ San Marcos Plaza Park

— New Braunfels Fourth of July @ Landa Park
parade at 9:15 a.m., music at 6:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
The Patriotic Parade starts at 9:15 a.m on the Main Plaza, Downtown. At 6:30 p.m. a music program starts in Landa Park, followed by fireworks.
