Whether you’re team Caramel deLights or Thin Mints (or both, let’s be honest), there is just something so exciting about Girl Scout cookie season! Maybe it’s the fact that those tasty little cookies evoke happy nostalgia from our childhood, maybe it’s the fact that they’re only available once a year, maybe it’s the joy that comes form supporting young female entrepreneurs. No matter the reason, we’re here for it!

Cookie season in Central Texas runs through February 28, featuring nine cookie options ($4 per box), including the new, French-toast-inspired Toast-Yay!, a cinnamon-flavored cookie dipped in white icing.

In the midst of this pandemic, there has been some confusion about how to get cookies this year. You won’t find the scouts set up outside of grocery stores and shopping centers as in years’ past, but there are actually many ways to safely order up some cookies. We’re breaking it all down for you here…

All the Ways to Get Your Girl Scout Cookies in Austin:

— Find a drive-thru cookie booth. Use the “find cookies” tool on Girl Scouts of Central Texas website to locate a cookie booth in your zip code. When visiting a cookie booth, be sure to wear a mask and abide by social distancing guidelines for the protection of yourself and the scouts and volunteers.

— Buy directly from a Girl Scout. This one might sound obvious, but take note that scouts are using a Digital Cookie® platform this year. So you can get a direct link from your scout to buy online from her, with the option to have a contactless delivery to your door step.

— Buy from local troop. If you don’t know any Girl Scouts personally, but you’d prefer to keep your support in the neighborhood, you can fill out this form to get connected with the troop near you.

— Get cookies delivered via Grubhub and Favor. For even one more convenient options, Girl Scout cookies can be delivered through Grubhub and Favor for contactless cookie ordering and delivery this year.
