At this time, we are tremendously grateful to thaw out in the Austin sunshine, stock up on clean water from one of the local breweries and distribution sites, feel inspired by the many local restaurants offering free meals to those in need, and take up a neighbor’s offer to pop in for a quick shower. The outpouring of kindness from essential workers, activists, leaders and everyday citizens has been amazing!

This past week was traumatic and devastating for so many in our community. And while the ice has now melted, there is much work ahead. We know you share the same desire to help lend a hand, so for those looking for ways to volunteer your time, collect donations, or make monetary contributions, we’ve compiled this list of resources to help you choose where to put your efforts into helping locals who need it most.

We will continue to update this list, so please reach out to [email protected] if you know of an organization in need of community assistance.
