Back in October, Do512 Family was a proud media sponsor of the I Spy Pie! fundraiser benefiting Creative Action, a nonprofit that inspires kids through interactive programs to be creative artists and courageous allies. Creative Action runs after school arts residencies and community-based programs to spark and support the academic, social and emotional development of young people.

The I Spy Pie! fundraiser featured delicious pies made by local chefs, kid-friendly live music, arts, crafts, games and – (this is where we come in) – a special booth where kids could pie each other in the face! Yep, Do512 Family had homemade whip cream donated to us from Bakerman’s Bakery, which we divvied up onto plates and let kids pie their parents, each other, and even us! The fun and laid-back gents from The Edge of Imagination Station then filmed each pie-bomb and played it back in stop motion style. Basically, it was a blast, and the footage has officially been shared on YouTube. We had so much fun at this event, despite the fact that the kids did not seem to want get pie in their face, because they were, however, completely down to pie their parents, strangers and us.

So, if you were there with us that day, here is the video that features you, your kids, Adam and Chris from The Edge of Imagination Station and Do512 Family editor, Jamie. And here is the Facebook Photo Album, be sure to “like” The Edge of Imagination Station to see what they’re up to and where they’ll be in the future.

We hope to see you next year!
