KLRU and Alamo Drafthouse have teamed up to host two red carpet events to premiere 4 episodes of the new PBS show, Space Racers! Show Synopsis:
Space Racers is a new animated preschool television program that follows young spaceship cadets as they soar through the Solar System, learning about the power of scientific investigation and observation, the wonders of space exploration, and the importance of working together as a team. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how each animated character was brought to life, hear how NASA Scientists and Astronauts assisted in the development of the series, plus see exclusive episodes of SPACE RACERS which airs locally on KLRU Fridays at Noon.
This is a family red carpet event and guests are encouraged to come dressed in Hollywood glamour or astronaut gear to walk the red carpet and take photos in the photo booth. There will be fun, educational activities in the lobby throughout the event, so wiggly kiddos have options if their theatre seat can’t hold them.
