The Yarborough Branch of the Austin Public Library is hosting a FREE Mad Science Maelstrom on Friday, October 2 from 7-9 p.m. Get caught up in a vortex of Mad Science experiments, Minecraft, and creeptastic crafts. Recommended for ages 10 and up.

Kids will get to:

• Cobble together a Frankenfigure of their very own
• Bottle up a creepy creature for their Mad Science shelf
• Freak out over spine chilling dry ice experiments
• Make their own monster foam explosions
• Shake up a batch of atomic slime
