To make a visit to the Austin Trail of Lights even more magical than it already is, you can plan ahead for a fun family night out on Dec. 12 when Austin Parks Foundation presents Movie Night on the Trail! Families are welcome to enjoy a screening of the holiday classic, Home Alone at 8 p.m. But you can arrive early for some fun before the film including an ugly sweater contest at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the Trail is FREE that evening from 7-10 p.m.

Take note that General Admission is free for all guests on Dec. 12 (no GA tickets required), and it’s open from 7-10 p.m. However, if you’d like to avoid the lines and crowds, you can purchase a ZIP FAST Pass that gives you early access to the Trail at 6 p.m., an exclusive ZIP entrance, complimentary cookies and cocoa, and access to the Zilker Lounge with heated bathrooms and a seating area. ZIP Passes are sold for ages 6 and up (children 5 and under are free). Click here to purchase.
